(May 2008) Things are in motion in the Polish stone-sector: The traditional trade-fair Kamien in Wroclaw has got a competitor – one week after it, this year for the first time, will take place the new show „Glass and stone“ in Poznan (november 15th until 18th). As anounced on its webpage, the new show is „to combine the lightness of glass with the durability of stone“.
The webpage especially points out the modern equipment of the halls on the Poznan fairground. This is to be understood as a side blow against Wroclaw with its exhibition hall with almost 100 years age. Poznan still has another big advantage: It lies on half-way between Warshaw and Berlin and can be reached from both capitals in three hours by the recently modernized railway-connection.
Kamien will take place in this year from november 8th until 11th in Wroclaw.
