A group of coffee tables and end tables in a variety of sizes have been launched on the market by Draenert of Germany. The table-top made of natural stone is 2 cm thick and lends the piece of furniture the necessary lightness to ensure mobility.
Optically the effect is achieved in two ways: the tables have rounded edges tapering off to nothingness, and the frame, made of 10 mm tubular steel. Combined, the two elements lend the furniture filigree lightness.
The natural stone on our photo is Italian Marmo Statuario, but other types of stone are available. The framework is bronze-coated but can also be delivered in other finishes. Three sizes are currently available (32, 38 and 44 cm respectively) in a variety of surface-dimensions.
The creation goes by the name of „Manolo“ and was designed by Stephan Veit.
Veit also designed a series of end tables by the title „Leaves“ with wooded table tops.
Interesting to observe how the designer plays with the veins and uses the design when combining tables with one another.
