There are novelties in the joint stands in terms of placement and size
The international exhibitors at the upcoming Xiamen Stone Fair (March 16-19, 2025) will have their booths on the right side of the main entrance as usual. But there are some changes in the placement and size of the joint stands. We reproduce, with minor comments, the fair‘s press release:
The Cambodia Quarry Association is participating for the first time, showcasing stones from four major brands in a 396 square meter space. They will have a reception bar with support and catering for exhibitors and visitors.
The Pakistani Pavilion, organized by the country’s Trade Development Authority (TDAP), will highlight the country‘s marble export potential: Pakistan possesses 65 stone varieties and around 400 million tons in reserves. With approximately 1,400 operating quarries and 3,000 processing units, the stone industry is supplying global markets.
The Iranian Pavilion will cover 1,100 m2 with 19 confirmed companies, 78% of which are quarry owners, and 39% are debuting at the event. The Iranian commercial consul in Beijing and the Deputy Minister of Mining Affairs will attend, highlighting Iran‘s commitment to the stone sector. A business delegation will visit the fair to demonstrate strong demand for stone materials, tools, and machinery.
The Turkish Pavilion in Hall A6 is the largest national display at Xiamen Stone Fair 2025, covering 2,056 m2 and featuring 25 top brands and leading quarry owners from Turkey. The country once was located in Halls A1 and A2, where now artificial stone has its place.
The Italian Pavilion, led by Confindustria Marmomacchine, will showcase 40 stone and techno-stone companies, marking a 14% increase from last year. In 2005, Italy had the first national pavilion at the fair.
The International Area of Xiamen Stone Fair is a key platform for quarry companies worldwide.
The Tuscany Pavilion (Italy), featuring 18 companies like Red Graniti, Furrer, and Sagevan, marks its 17th occurrence in Hall A5, covering 834 m2. It highlights marble extraction from the Apuan-Versilian district around Carrara.
The Greek Pavilion, supported by Enterprise Greece, is showcasing high-quality marble and natural stones. With 76% of its marble production exported to over 120 countries, Greece’s stone industry is notably successful, particularly due to the quality and whiteness of its marble. In 2023, China was the largest importer, purchasing $61.31 million worth of Greek stone.
Organized by Centrorochas and Apexbrasil, the Brazilian Pavilion sees a 29% increase in exhibitors this year. It will showcase Brazil‘s diverse and high-quality natural stones in China, which is a key commercial partner. At the Xiamen Stone Fair 2023, participants closed $6.7 million in immediate deals, with an anticipated $22.8 million over the next year. Notably, 54.5% of companies reported better-than-expected results, indicating strong demand for Brazilian stone materials.
The Egyptian Pavilion at Xiamen Stone Fair 2025 is organized by Egypt Expo and Convention Authority – EECA in cooperation with the Egyptian Export Council for Building Materials, with 22% of exhibitors being newly joined. Leading natural stone producers from Egypt will be present, reflecting the strong demand for Egyptian marble and granite. China is considered the largest importer of Egyptian stones.
Assimagra is leading the Portuguese Pavilion, showcasing top natural stone producers in a 174 m2 area. In 2023, China ranked 5th in importing Portuguese stone, highlighting the fair as a strategic opportunity for Portuguese companies to enhance their international presence.
The Spanish Pavilion returns to Xiamen Stone Fair, organized by Cluster Piedra, featuring leading Spanish stone companies and technological centers. Cluster Piedra advocates for the sector‘s interests, enhancing competitiveness and strategic market growth while consolidating existing market shares and exploring new high-potential segments.
