Description of the stone: a flawless, even-grained type of granite with a striking purity of color and an uncommon strength. Seen from a few steps away, it has the milky white typical for marbles.

Peculiarities of the stone: One of the stones used for iconic buildings in Washington DC: the Union Station, the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, or the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. In the French capital Paris, Bethel Granite with a flamed and brushed finish replaced the deteriorated white marble at the exterior of the Grande Arche de la Défense during the restoration from 2014 to 2018.
