“A new dimension of wellness … designed to offer guests a sensory and rejuvenating experience,“ promises the new sauna in St. Moritz nestled within the park of the renowned Ristorante Murtaröl. It is the latest project by the agency “Lifestyle by The Great Living Estate“ focused on making more out of outstanding locations.
The press release describes the design concept by Michele Vitaloni + Partners: „It stems from the desire to create a minimal yet elegant structure that blends seamlessly with the natural landscape without disrupting its balance. The parallelepiped-shaped structure integrates harmoniously into the environment, enhancing its beauty.
The choice of Infinity Brown black Brazilian quartzite as the predominant facade material gives the building a monolithic character, while the expansive glass openings allow natural light to dynamically shape the interiors. The stone was provided by Italian Bonotti Marmi company.
A sleek black portal leads into a refined interior space, where a welcoming open lounge takes shape with Baxter furnishings, harmoniously interacting with custom elements crafted by antoniolupi.
Inside the building, guests will find a changing room, a relaxation area featuring six comfortable seats positioned directly by the glass wall, complemented by Paesaggi Sospesi side tables by antoniolupi, and the Effegibi sauna.“
