A new contemporary art trail titled “Between Marble and Sea” (Tra Marmo e Mare) is open at the at the waterfront of Viareggio in Lucca province in Tuscany. It was organized by the Municipality of Viareggio in collaboration with the Arkad Foundation, and features eleven sculptures by seven international artists:

From its very title, the exhibition highlights the deep connection that characterizes this territory: between the marble of the Apuan Alps, the artists’ work, and the sea. A dialogue that becomes a shared art project, capable of enhancing public space and turning it into a place for encounter, experience, and participation.

Conceived as a temporary installation lasting approximately one year, the exhibition aims to build a living relationship between the works, the environment, and the community, involving residents and visitors in an open and accessible experience.
