(June 2011) Brazil is known for its rich palette of natural stone with unusual splendour bringing Brazil’s tropical and colourful savoir vivre to the four corners of the globe. Marbrasa is a pioneer in the branch, producing a wide array of granites and marbles in blocks, slabs, tiles or cut-to-size to fit customers’ every need.
The company’s own quarries guarantee access to the gamut for years to come as well as high quality standards and maximum reliability in sustained high quality and supply.
Marbrasa offers a full range of colours and exclusive patterns and structures in ornamental stone. See our photos for a sample of the program.
Founded in 1970 and based in the province of Espírito Santo, the heart of Brazil’s stone industry, Marbrasa is a pioneer in the country’s ornamental stone sector. It was the first to export natural stone to international markets and currently ships to Latin America, the USA, Canada, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania. The company maintains a branch office in the prime stone region of Xiamen City, China to better cater to clients needs on location.
Marbrasa takes its environmental and social responsibilities very seriously. Spent quarries undergo special environmental treatment and are reforested to reproduce the local flora. Also, water used during quarrying is processed through a filter press to prevent pollution of the environment through sludge and debris.
Aiming to bring Brazil’s stone industry closer to its European clients, Marbrasa has recently opened a branch office in London. Regional representative is Livia Bermond, and will be present at the Stone+tec 2011 in Nuremburg albeit without a company presentation stand.
