(November 2013) With granite of this caliber there are but two possibilities for bathroom design: either a lot of small accents or one really big. The second was chosen by an architect in Texas – made possible by the size of the bathroom – large enough to allow an entire wall clad in „Lennon“ and get away with it.
The other surfaces are low key. Doors and cupboards are made of varnished wood. The length of the granite counter top unites the room, bracing it optically.
The landlord also chose a single type of stone to clad the wall behind the bar.
„Lennon“ originates from a granite collection marketed by Spain’s Levatina Company, one of 11 types of stone from different countries. Not all of them are as dominant even wild in structure. „Lennon“ stems from Brazil‘s province of Espirito Santo.
Here we show a kitchen work surface with „Lennon“, again with a reserved peripheral design.
From where does the name originate? Exactly: The Beatles.
