Italian Zanettin Company emulates trade marks in over-sized wire cages filled with stone
Gabion-specialist Zanettin Company was not to be overlooked at this year’s Marmomacc: The Italian-based company had constructed a huge „50“ in stainless steel cages filled with limestone and behind the numbers lof the jubilee of the fair: space for scrap-book photos of the visitors.
The logo with the over-dimensioned 50 was made up of 2 hoops in different colors filled with pebbles. But particularly the digit „5“ was a challenge to construct in gabion technique and required some skill.
As usual for Zanettin, the idea went way beyond the normal parameters of gabions.
But the product line, too, was dedicated to gabion-art. Zanettin Company with headquarters in Cembra close to Bozen produces gabions in the shape of company logos, a considerable niche. Certainly an attractive company logo in gabion would upgrade many a boring round-about.
Zanettin’s technical staff let their imagination flow freely and designed a number of gabion-logos, some of which we show below.
