Chimneys are usually not the center of a builder’s and architect’s focus, the reason being: except for birds and chimney sweeps – no one really sees much of them. But let us take a closer look in our photo-gallery, which we dedicated to the subject after finding a number of pictures worth a second look on the Norsk Skifer Website.
Perhaps intricately designed chimneys are a metaphoric smoke signal. The message: aesthetics and style are important.
