German Draenert Company, producer of exclusive designer-furniture will be presenting its current highlight at the Salone del Mobile in Milan (April 12th to 17th 2016): „Fontana“ is not merely an extension-table. Pulling out one wing automatically unleashes a symmetrical reaction at the far end of the table and opens the space in the mid-section, allowing the extra section to unfold as if by magic. Once the panels are unfolded, the mechanism closes the gap all by itself. No-longer any need to run around the table and adjust the other end.

This innovative extendible table has won a number of design awards since it was first presented: Draenert was awarded the Interior Innovation Award, one of the IF Design Prizes as well as the „Best of the Best“ Red Dot Award for the innovation.
Brand new: table „Lauro“ by designer Stephan Veit, made of brushed Spider Green Marble (see second photo).
The foot of the table could tell a long tale. But in short: the steel support is hidden behind panels emanating from a 3-D printer!
We look forward to watching further development in Draenert’s furniture-building technology.
A sideboard dubbed „Twin“, practically duplicates the natural stone top – a novelty in its own right by designers Professor Dieter Zimmer and Burkhard Hess.
