Cosentino Design Challenge: winners of the 10th competition announced

International students’ were called to develop ideas for the use of the company’s engineered stones

Architecture and design were the categories also of the 10th Cosentino Design Challenge for students. This year’s competition had 353 entries, a 28% increase on the previous year: 173 were for the architecture category and 180 for the design category.

Entries were submitted from students at both the partner institutions or at other design and architecture schools around the world, such as the Institución Universitaria Colegio Mayor de Antioquia (Colombia), Universidad del Sinú (Colombia) or the Universidad Simón I Patiño (Bolivia).

The topic in the architecture category was „Cosentino and Sport“. There were 3 winning projects each awarded a 1000 € prize. The secondary awards were a diploma.

The theme for the design category was „commercial elements” which meant playing with the different surfaces. The awards were the same as in the architecture category plus special mentions.
