(November 2010) „Money does not beget culture, however the reverse may be true“ according to Theodor Heuss, Germany’s first post WWII President. „Skulptura“, held, for the second time in Beckingen half way between Saarbrücken and Trier, picks up on this thought: object of the campaign was to promote the district and suburbs in a competition between the cities, according to a news report.
Artists were invited to exhibit their work or deliver live presentations to the theme of „together“ and „travel/arrival“.
BusinessStone.com reports on some of the pieces exhibited or presented as they ensued.
In our December 2008 issue, BusinessStone.com reported on sculptures as message bearers.
