The natural stone fair “Marble Izmir” will celebrate its 30th anniversary from April 09 to 12, 2025. It began in 1989 in the city‘s Kültürpark with 47 exhibitors under the name “Izmir Marble Days” in a cooperation between the city, the sector, and the university.
As usual, Halls A and B will be reserved for the presentation of natural stone. Parts of Hall C and Hall D are traditionally home to mechanical engineering and technology companies.
Blocks will be on display in the outdoor area. The press office of the city‘s trade fair company Izfas found a picturesque description for this part of the show: Presented will be “a total of 20,000 tons of stone blocks – equivalent to the weight of two Eiffel Towers.“
The trade fair is also characterized by the many exhibitors and visitors from abroad. As usual, there will be B2B meeting programs where buyers and Turkish sellers can do business.
The competition for innovative natural stone design will be held for the 7th time. This time the theme is “Furniture.” The aim is to introduce creative people to the stone sector and thus provide stone companies with new ideas for products.
