The organizers of the 2026 Stone+tec fair (June 17 – 20) sent us the following press release:
From June 17 – 20, 2026, the Stone+tec trade fair will focus on natural stone in all its facets. The international Competence Forum for Natural Stone and Stone Technology will attract trade visitors from all over Europe to Messe Nürnberg for four days. The main themes of Stone+tec are ‘Building with natural stone’, ‘Equipment for professionals,’ and ‘Place of remembrance’.
Parallel to Stone+tec, Tile+tec will be offering products and services for the ‘Design with tiles’ area. One year before the next edition of the trade fair, the event is already showing signs of growth. The exhibition space will be expanded to include areas in Hall 9.
There is great anticipation for Stone+tec 2026, one year ahead of the event: Trade fair organizer AFAG is expecting more exhibitors in all product areas who have taken the opportunity to meet the industry in person at Stone+tec and present their products and services. The trade fair portfolio will be expanded by new exhibitors in 2026, with increased enquiries for the ‘Tools and Machines’ area.
The last Stone+tec ended with an increase in both the number of participating exhibitors (+20 %) and visitors (+12 %) compared to the previous event. One year before the next Stone+tec, a continuation of the growth trend is already becoming apparent.
The German Natural Stone Association (DNV) and the Federal Guild Association of German Stonemasons and Stone Carvers (BIV) are the conceptual sponsors and professional driving forces behind Stone+tec. Both associations will be focusing on current industry topics on the stage in Hall 11 at Stone+tec.
The new stage concept bundles current industry topics and is organised by both associations. The presentation of the German Natural Stone Award will also take place here.
In addition, the winners of the BIV Young Talent Competition will be honoured there. The next generation of the industry will once again receive special attention at Stone+tec 2026: the BIV Young Talent Competition will be an exciting eye-catcher at the entrance to the fair and will provide insights into the craftsmanship of the next generation of stonemasons. The ‘Living Workshop’ in Hall 9 brings practical topics to the trade fair.
Stone+tec takes place every two years at Messe Nürnberg and is the international competence forum for natural stone and stone technology. Since 2024, Stone+tec has been accompanied by Tile+tec, which offers products for tiles and design.
