Greek sculptor John Bizas has found perhaps the most exclusive venue to showcase his artwork: His white marble sculptures were displayed on the luxury yacht “Idyllic” at the Monaco Yacht Show (September 24 – 27, 2025).
The ship can be rented, e.g., with a crew of 15 people, including two chefs, for a trip or even just for an event.
Bizas was invited by Angel Yachts Co (AYC), which describes itself as “one of the most dynamic players in the global luxury yachting industry.” Its services go far beyond the usual charter business, according to a press release: It promises “tailor-made experiences that combine world-class service with the country’s culture, history, and legendary hospitality.”
The country in question is Greece, where AYC is based, and so marble sculptor John Bizas came on board with his works.
In Monaco, AYC also wanted to present its own business model with the “Idyllic” and Bizas: “Looking ahead, AYC is investing in the future of yachting with the construction of three new 70-meter superyachts in collaboration with The Italian Sea Group… With this expansion, AYC reinforces its vision of setting new global standards in luxury yachting while continuing to elevate Greece as the premier hub for exclusive sea journeys.”
Bizas, whom we profiled previously, often explores the theme of sharks in his marble work, not as literal depictions of the animal, but as symbolic interpretations of humanity itself.
