Neutra, the Italian company specializing in stylish and exclusive furniture made with natural stone, presented its new collection at Milan Design Week 2025. The collection included tables, a bed, sofas, sideboards, shelves, and lamps. The designs are the result of Neutra’s collaboration with renowned designers. This year, the partners were—in alphabetical order—Monica Armani, atelier oï, Draw Studio, Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Stefano Gallizioli, and Migliore+Servetto.
The latter two are, incidentally, the company’s art directors, and we will now take a closer look at their lamps, “Lente” and “Strobilo.“
Regarding “Lente,“ the company writes: “Lente appears as a large eye of light exploring space with purity and precision. Its fused-glass lens amplifies the sensation of suspension and ethereality, while the marble base grounds the composition with balance and stability. Monumental and theatrical as a floor lamp, more subtle and contemplative in its table version, Lente is offered in exquisite finishes including Rosso Lepanto and Nero Assoluto.”
Regarding “Strobilo,“ it says: “Strobilo draws inspiration from the circular motion of water shaping rock over time. Born from the encounter of solidity and transparency, it radiates light from its marble base, which gently refracts through the upper glass disc, casting soft shadows and enveloping reflections. Available both as a floor and table version, Strobilo comes in refined marble varieties such as Verde Borgogna, Tobacco Brown and Sodalite Blu, each enhancing the light in a distinctive way and turning interiors into intimate, evocative landscapes.”
As is typical for Neutra, the objects can be customized to customer specifications. Numerous exclusive marble varieties are available for this purpose.
